 as a Professor

    - since September 1998 I became Associate Professor of Social Psychology at the Faculty of Political Science of the National School of Government and Administration (SNSPA) Bucharest. I teach psychology of organizations and political psychology applied to former Communist countries (political culture, behavior, public opinion) to both undergraduate and graduate students.

-1995-1998  Associate Professor of Social Psychology at the University of Bucharest. I taught a general class of social psychology of organizations (undergraduate), and a special class of negotiation and conflict management (each fall) for Romanian civil servants from the government engaged in an MA program of the Law School. (with the collaboration of the Department of Foreign Affairs)

 as an organization Manager

- Executive President, Romanian Academic Society, Director Romanian Center for Public Policy (CeRPP)-(1995-1997), 1999. The most relevant project of SAR that I conceived and organized was the first intensive 'school' for the Romanian freshmen MP- (a two weeks training course on the model of the Kennedy School of Government) : 'The Academy of MP' (1997- funded by PHARE and OSI)

-Deputy General Manager, in charge of the reform of the Romanian Public Television (TVR), 1997-1990. My task was to propose a restructuring plan for the 3500-employees organization and implement it. The restructuring plan was made with consultants from the BBC and Coopers and Lybrand who worked as a team under my direction.

 as an analyst/consultant

-in 1996 I worked as a country analyst for Romania in a study group lead by Fraser Cameron from the Research Division of the European Commission. The group had the task of producing country reports for the Agenda 2000, and I wrote the political country report for my country. In 1997 I evaluated for the European Commission the TACIS program in Romania.

-in 1994 and 1995 I wrote at the request of BBC World Service an yearly evaluation of the BBC Radio network of FM stations in Romania, looking both at issues of content and management.

-As Executive President of SAR I headed teams that provided consultancy to political parties, the Romanian government and the Romanian Presidency starting with 1996. We designed the core of the future government program for the electoral campaign of the Romanian Democratic Convention in 1996.
